This work is in response to a Typography and Poster brief we were set by uni. The brief was to design and create a typeface and a poster utilizing the typeface.
I really like the art movements from the beginning of the 20th Century so I decided to create a Dada-esque typeface. I tried to reference each glyph from typefaces that would have been is use during the time of the Dada Art movement and with a few exceptions managed to. I’m quite pleased with the outcome.
Here are a set of fridge Dada fridge magnets created by me from my typeface. The magnets are designed as introductory media to be sent to prospective employers.
